Competitions in Telugu Cultural Talent in Children

Objective:

Spot and promote talent among children from Telugu-speaking families on how good they are with respect to Telugu Culture and Traditions. As an example, if your son or daughter may have a talent for singing a Telugu folk song or padyam or doing a Telugu folk dance, this is a good opportunity to show case.

Eligibility:

Should have purchased for ticket Silicon Andhra ACF-2014

How to enter:

1.      Create a video of  your child in one of the following categories

1. 1. Sangeetham [Vocal (Paata & Padyam)],
   2. Nrityam –      [Folk, Classical or Semi-Classical Dance]
   3. Vayidyam  [Instrument.]
   4. Mata [ story stelling , narration etc ..]
   5. Special talent (monoaction, mimicry, etc.)

(Background music is allowed but will not be used as a criterion for judging the entries)

2.      Make sure that the video is not more than 2 minutes.

3.      Load it in youtube

4.      Make the privacy setting of Youtube video either “Public” or “Unlisted” based on your comfort level.

5.      Note down the URL of the Youtube Video.

• This is an example video only.
•            You have to attach the scanned copy of ACF-2014 ticket.
•            You can enroll your child in multiple categories. But you should send separate Email for each entry, with a scanned copy of ticket.
•         You cannot use single ticket to enroll in multiple categories.
•          You can send Video anywhere from World , but no transportation or no any other expense will be provided by us.

Prizes

1.      Entries will be divided in 3 age groups (4-7 years, 8-11 years and 12-14 years).

2.      In each age group, three prizes will be awarded for each category (Sangeetham, Nrityam, Vaidyam , Maata,Special talent).

3.      In addition, shortened videos of best to all the audience on a 550 square feet screen

4.      All videos will be posted on facebook as and when they are received.

5.      All participants get participant trophies.

6.      If time and logistics permit, all the participants will be called on to stage for a group photo.

  Important:

DEADLINE: October 21^th, 2014

  Videos submitted in the competition must adhere to following guidelines to be considered.

1)     There should not be anything related to movies. Songs, music, scenes and dialogues from movies are not allowed. Videos containing these will be rejected.

2)     Mimicking Movie actors is not allowed.

3)     Videos taken for other events are not accepted, it should be explicitly taken for this Event.

4)     The dress code: Kids should wear Indian traditional dress when Video is taken.

5)     They should adhere to YouTube guidelines given at http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines
